Food safety risk management expert

He has 28 years of experience in food safety. Expert in Food Safety Risk Management; Lead instructor of Preventive Controls for Safety, expert in the strengthening and modernization of national systems of sanitary and phytosanitary measures (SPS) and food control systems based on Codex Alimentarius guidelines and international best practices, in particular, of modern principles of Risk Analysis. Continuous advisor to companies on issues of Sanitary Design, implementation of Food Defense, BPM, HACCP, FSMA and ISO 22000. Expert in MSF regulatory affairs and access to international food markets. Author of three books, one chapter and 43 articles, speaker at dozens of international events and technical meetings, he has served in 34 countries in America, Europe and Asia, acting as an independent consultant, as a guest or under temporary contracts with FAO, WHO, IDB , IUFoST, ILSI, AECOM, Nathan Associates, ACTA, AECI, Fundación Chile, Fondonorma, Grupo FS del Perú, among others. Former President of the National Association of Food Science and Technology, member of the Governing Council of the International Union of Food Science and Technology, IUFoST, Member of the International Academy of Food Science and Technology.
